Today Misa Ramirez, author of Living The Vida Lola sent an email to say her book was featured on Free Book Friday, founded by author Jessica Brody. I rushed over just to have a chance at getting a copy of her book. I can't wait to read it, but I have been trying really hard after my last Amazon spree to stop spending as much on books when I already have more than I can read.
Once I was over at the site I was excited not just for her book, but as a great site to check back to every Friday. Not only does the site do giveaways, but it also has fun podcast interviews with the authors. I enjoyed hearing more about Ramirez's background.
Just when I thought it couldn't get much better, I realized that there is also a teen companion site with ya novels.
