Pandora Gets Jealous by Carolyn Hennesy was a fun read integrating Greek mythology, which seems to be a big hit with my students lately. While The Lightning Thief also drew on Greek mythology and appealed to both boys and girls, this book is more targeted to girls. I can already picture a few students who I know will love this book for sure, and I am excited to book talk it this week. They will enjoy following Pandy on her adventures to make up for her careless mistake of taking her dad's box that she was forbidden to touch to school which lead to an utter disaster. I love the cover of the book, and the title is also fun because it can have multiple meanings depending on the point in the book. I will be adding the other books in the series to my classroom library and watching for new ones as they come out.
